Have to sell, wanted to save it but got too busy and have to let it go. Will be posting for sale as a complete car and if it doesn’t sell I’ll be parting it out. 1981 dodge diplomat coupe- 225 904 7.25. Would need trailered. Far from perfect, Driver front frame rail needs patched/replaced, roof needs patched where vinyl top was ( vinyl was removed by previous owner ) has gran fury grill that’s broken, and has dents. Car was rust-proofed sometime I imagine in the 80’s, looks like old ziebart plugs along tops of body panels. Fenders, doors and quarters, aside from some little dents and dings are in pretty good shape. Will be sold with steel wheels. Was originally maroon but previous owner spray painted black. Missing back window trim and trim along tops of doors. Side view mirrors included with car are square ones from a sedan. Dash has cracks but door panels and other interior panels are in okay shape. The cons outweigh the pros but I’d rather be upfront than waste someone’s time. I bought the car with the intentions of making it into a fun daily driver but work slowed down and I don’t have the time or money to put into it right now. Would need gone through before being roadworthy. I know there’s some value in the parts here that are good, asking 850 OBO. I’d like to see the car get saved, I know there aren’t many out there, it is rough but it is unique. Car is definetly save-able. Located in canton Ohio. When I bought the car it ran and drove but had a kinkedfuel line leaking above the intake and I haven’t had the time to fix it. Comes with new timing set, water pump, plugs and wires and fuel pump. Oil looks good and trans fluid looks good. Would be a great candidate for a drag car after some repair on the underside. Would be willing to do some trading for big block parts, A-body parts, or 72-73 imperial parts. Located in canton Ohio, Title in hand. Will be posting for several weeks and then will be parting out. I’ll post more pics ASAP. Thanks. If you’re interested in any parts if it doesn’t sell don’t hesitate to send a message so I can decide if it’s time to cut it up instead of waiting for someone to buy complete.
