Hello friends

Is this a Valiant?

Here we have a 1981 Mexican Spec Chrysler Valiant.

In the world of Chrysler Mexico the Valiant was the base model car, bottom of the line.

The Dart had a few more options, but not many more.

This is an M body. It may not look like it from the front but it is.

Of course that means at the back it has Dodge Diplomat tail lights but at the front it has a Plymouth Volare front end.

The grille is Mexico only as you can see the Valiant name here.

Of course we know in the US the Valiant name ended at the end of the 1976 model year, but not in Mexico.

Under the hood is a 225 Slant 6. Being a 1981 model it would have a Super 6 with the 2 barrel carburetor.

You have to shift this one your self with the 3 on the tree transmission. Yes as late as 1981 they were still using the 3 on the tree in Mexico.

The upholstery has been redone in this red diamond pattern. The seat looks comfortable and as a bonus it has factory seat belts.

The car has traveled only 121,896 KM (75,742 Miles) in the past 44 years.

When was the last time you saw a set of these directional wheels in the wild? The tires are in really good shape so you are ready to go there.

If you want a unique car for a really good price, this is the one for you.

Here is the break down on the cost of the vehicle. The vehicle itself will be $4,700 dollars. Transport from where it is to the Nogales Arizona border $950 dollars for a total of $5,650. This price includes transport from Central Mexico to the border at Nogales. We are paying almost $6.00 US per gallon of gasoline or diesel.

Lately the exchange rate has been all over the place so please ask for an up to date price.

If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.

* We Can Now Offer US Delivery * - What this means is we can cross the car and you as the buyer would need to pick it up in Nogales Arizona or arrange transport to your location.

I know the thought of buying from Mexico makes people nervous.

I can provide references from my previous clients if necessary.
