As I live in Mexico I have access to all the special Mexican Spec cars they made. If this one isn't for you I can find you one you will love.
The front end is an F-Body and the rear an M-Body so it is a Twofer.
Here is an odd car to see.
This is a 1981 Mexican Spec Valiant Volare.
Under the hood is a 225 slant 6 mated to an automatic transmission.
This is a low mile car having traveled only 129,000 KM (80,156 Miles) in the past 44 years.
The interior features a front and rear bench seat covered in brown cloth.
This car has an SE hood ornament but I think that was added later. The Valiant Volare was the bottom of the line car for this year.
The car is riding on Mopar Rally wheels with black wall tires. They look right on this car.
You might notice this has a 1980 Plymouth Volare front end with a Dodge Diplomat rear end. This often happened in Mexico.
It is equipped with power steering and brakes and a factory heater and it is still hooked up.
The car is very straight and well cared for and has traveled only 1,822 miles per year since it was new.
If you want a car that will get all the eyes at your local car show, this is the one.
The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $8,370 dollars. This includes delivery to the Nogales Arizona border from Southern Mexico.
