1981 Mirada help

Hello guys,
I am changing out the K member on a Mirada and the bolt broke inside frame passenger side rear. What is the best way to fix?

that sucks. i broke one on my charger and i had to cut out that section of the rail , weld the nut back in place and then weld the section of rail back in because i had no access hole. thats about all i can think of.

Its best to drill a 1/8" hole in the rail and spray PB Blaster/ Liquid Wrench on the threads a week before removing the bolts.
You can still do this along with some heat from Mapp gas/ Propane torch and a screw extractor.

Just throwing this out there; a company called Cano out of Atlanta I believe sells a penetrant called Kroil, the oil that creeps. The smell is terrible, but do you want that bolt out or not. It blows away blaster hands down! I've never seen anything come close. You can find it locally, or from Eastwood. I buy it by the gallon. It also comes in quarts, & spray can. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Larry
