I guess what I am asking for my 81 lebaron is quite reasonable.

Your car is priced what I'd say is perfectly.
And it's a nice looking car.
$5000 for an 88 Fifth is laughable in my opinion.
Up here anything after 87 is subject to eternal emissions tests and are generally considered parts cars.
At $5000 this seller is going to have that car for a long time.

The market is tough M's are not really worth anything

Like I said I would like to sell it to a person that knows these cars, but if I have to I will sell it on craigslist to somebody that needs a driver.

That's what happens, these cars go to people that are price shopping and unfortunately they will end up getting killed.

I've always said if I win the lottery I'm saving as many as I can.
Just the thought of them going to an idiot makes me cringe.

Excellent cars ,the 87 I have for sale is one great car and people compliment me when I park it somewhere.

OK. I thought with the hood ornament and turn signals above the headlights, it might be a Lebaron. i must admit, I don't have much interest in the four doors or the 1980 and up versions.

The cross in the grille is the big difference.
And I agree with the other posters....the 80's M's are fantastic cars.
I should know......I have one. :toothy10:
