76-79 blacked out headlight bezels?

I know Supercoupes had them but what other cars had them,Gators 79 RR has them,My 77 R/T has them and I just saw a 77 Wagon that had them also.Anyone know the mystery or is it one of those Chrysler things they did?

my original grille was black and all window trim is black must be part of trim package

My 77 R/T has them and there was no black out trim,I just saw a 77 wagon that had them.

77 r/t shouldn`t be blacked out. mopar part 3868600 76-77 all should be shiny
