Trim removal has begun and sanding of roof and deck lid with 800 grit

Butyl rubber. Same as Ma Mopar used to use.

Did you take out the windows or seal over the old stuff?

cover your windows with paper. As you sand the particles can embed into the glass and scratch them

my fiance' had mad mention that they looked like the seals might need to be replaced.
