I got a '87 fifth ave. Looking for an 8 1/4 rear axle for it. I'm in the Austin, TX area. I'd rather not ship, simply because I don't know where I'd have it delivered here. But I can make something happen if I have to.
I plan on swapping in 3.23 ring and pinion and adding sure grip. So I'm not too worried what gears are currently installed or if it's open or not. I'd just prefer one from an FMJ so I don't have to move spring perches or anything.
Going to start piecing together a little build for the car and well that 7.25 has got to go. Surprised it hasn't already, had way too much fun with the car last time it rained here.
