Hello All,
I'm collecting parts to complete my slant 6 to magnum 5.9 swap. My volare is a factory OD A-833. It seems that 4 speed overdrive bellhousings are getting more difficult to find. Brewers is out of stock. But they do sell a replacement downsized input bearing retainer that has the same bolt pattern as the 5.125" OD IBR, that lets you use a standard SB 4speed bellhousing.
My question is, which bellhousings are be compatible with a Volare / Aspen and a 4.8" IBR? Will i need a different pivot fork bracket? Will I need a new clutch fork or z bar? Which pilot bearing/bushing should I use?
Or am i better off just waiting for Brewers to get them back in?
And yes, I did do a forum search before posting
