Latest Score,
A 86 GF AHB that was last registered in 97.
It has all the coolers including oil.
All silicone hoses.
Nice blue interior that was saved from the sun by the tinted windows.
Using it for parts for my Coupes and 88 Diplomat AHB.

That is a nice color and her body looks straight.

Do you have any plans on selling any of her parts?

About 4 years ago, I bought a ’84 GF AHB, an old Oklahoma Indian reservation car, with 27k miles on the odometer, cheap. Lots of paperwork in glovebox to document the mileage.

It had roof mounted lights which (I’m assuming) was installed poorly. The roof and middle of car was rusted so bad that you could stand on trailer fender (much like 80 Lebaron Coupe’s trailer) and could see a few square feet of ground from looking down on the roof!

I basically stripped the car of anything mechanical. There wasn’t much left of the body to salvage (been sitting on ground without wheels, so frame rails were also rusted, bad).

The interesting part was I removed engine/trans still attached to K-frame as well as the rear diff/springs, as assemblies with the car (body) never leaving the trailer. I should have taken pictures . . .

Someone had used a torch to cut out the radiator and coolers (instead of un-bolting them), stole the intake & carb (but left the 4 bbl linkage intact!), then left the hood open to allow engine to fill with rain water and pecan hulls.

I'm trying to get 2 more complete GF AHBs.
There is also a 80 GF Cop Car there.
I may get it just to flip.
I think they are rarer then the M AHBs are.

There is one more GF AHB with a oil cooler but I couldn't find it this time.
The complete ones I will put back on the road and sell.

This place is a gold mine of Mopar parts.
The owner died in an accident and the greedy kids who are not car guys just want it all gone,
so they can sell the land thats been appraised at 300,000.

They are even threatening to crush everything.
Its a 8 hour round trip for me and I have been there twice and have spent 1,000 dollars.
400.00 first trip and 600.00 this trip.
What makes me sick besides threatening to crush everything,
is that they had nothing to do with their dad for the last 20 years,
now its like they won the lottery.
They sold one Mopar guy a 20ft trailer full of NOS Mopar parts for 1,000
Still in the boxes and there were 5 NOS quad headlight 79-80 truck grills.
At lease that stuff will have a chance of living on in other peoples projects.
Lots of Fs and Ms. scrap is only paying 1.00 per 100 lbs right now.Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
--- Post updated ---
I spent 8 hrs walking and pulling parts and 8 hrs of driving each time.
Exhausting to say the lease. I'm not 20 anymore.
I want to get all the 11.75 Caliper brackets I can find for my upgrades.
I have a friend who has a trailer that could haul 3 cars at a time.
I have another friend who may loan me the cash to save some of these cars and Dodge Trucks.
Thats why I have to get at lease a couple complete rarer cars to flip to pay for this adventure.
There was a F that had a V8 and 4 speed with a moon roof that got claimed before I got there to get it.
Thats what was going to come back with me instead of the GF AHB.
I didn't want to come back with a empty trailer, so I grabbed this AHB,
only because I couldn't find the other nicer GF with the oil cooler.
The place is HUGE and takes hours just to walk and look at everything.
I scored 3 8.25s last trip and one is a sure grip for 100.00 ea.
and lots of little odds and ends. This trip I got 2 nice Lebaron coupe doors,
(The only M coupe there) Back seat, headliner board, cop speedos, trans and PS coolers. newer Modine 3 core radiator, some truck stuff, center caps, ect ect ect. My truck and that AHB was packed with stuff.
