Great thread and timely for me..

Problem
Driver side wheel hit a hole.I could see large negative camber issue whee toed out if parked with wheel turned left. Found a crack in frame..had a circle guy track to weld a plate. and car was released to me.Less than a mile I check..lift hands off steering wheel Steering wheel immediately goes FULL LOCK right turn Same as before shop/ . First shop thought alignment ? Restores cars but no alignment rack
Now at a alignment shop (and suspension)..this morning. I would guess ball joint ?
I have always done most everything.Built Jaguars and hot rods but busted back and surviving 76 years...

Any ideas as I don't think alignment will get this

Any Ideas ? Appreciate

With your description of "Wheel going full lock right" I suspect there may be a power steering issue. Try sitting still with the wheel straight ahead and start the engine. Blip the throttle a few times and watch the steering wheel for small motions right. If so there may be a spool valve adjustment on top of the steering box. Just be carefull to make VERY SUBTLE adjustments if needed !

thanks Steering wheel moves hard right up on rack even. Saginaw pump WAY overboosted, and installing pressure regulator with rotary dial to limit boost
