Prepping the 8.25 for the Mirada, which has a 7.25. I'll be completely rebuilding the 8.25 drum brakes. Will the hard brake lines on the 7.25 axle, parking cable swap right over to the 8.25?

I think I worded that right.....

It would work, I blew mine in my dd last year and swapped over to my 8.25 , no problem. You will have to change the drives haft though.

Im not sure if the axle vent (that retains the rubber brake line) is in the same place. This might require some new steel lines.
The U bolts and shock plates will need to be changed, as the tube diameter is different.

I knew about the u-bolts, but two different sets of shock plates for the 7.25 and 8.25, really???
