Can someone tell me if you can test an ECU box?

Can you run voltage to one connector and test the others? Input voltage -> output voltage or 0 volts (insulated)

Or check grounds/measure resistance?

to see if the box is functioning properly?

I scored one from a second hand store but only had ends for ferds. I tried getting the ends thru my local Napa and found out Napa had went to a newer tester and I couldn't order cords. I think I bought mine for $20.00. I need to figure out the wiring and use an old piece of wiring harness. I never have needed one, but the Aspen is puking out resin so it is on the list.
