Thank you in advance for any information. I don't know what vehicle it came out of. I believe it is a 904? I'm looking for assistance with identifying and possibly a value or toss in scrap pile. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Looks like a 904. If the pan is a square with that visible corner cut off its a 904. If it has a bulge on the other side it's a 727.

Might be worth something to someone who wants the 998/999 gearing but not worth much.

Core price Upstate for a 904 is $50 to $75. That torque converter is a core/junk though

Ok. Good to know. Well I guess I melt her down and scrap the converters. One more question please. Can I believe the housing is all aluminum in 1986 like the transmission was in 1960? Thank you guys for crashing my dreams of riches.....lol. Thank you for your wisdom.

That's a good one, don't scrap it till others have chance to get it.

For someone that wants to build up a 904 this could have some good parts: I'm thinking the 2.74 1st gear set, which I thought only came in the later 904s, no?

Yes and potentially some other HD items. worth stripping at least if still around.
