Thanks. I got it out and drove it the other day and after it gets warmed up it dies when I come to a stop and seems to be badly flooded. Maybe that 600 CFM carburetor is too big for the 318. I'll have to see what I can do about that flooding. I'll try adjusting it and see what happens.

I have a Holley Street Avenger 570 on my 318 and started having a few problems. Seems everything needs to be adjusted again.

Here is mine, 76 Aspen R/T .030 360,Holley 4160 4 bbl, Hooker headers, 904 with console shift and buckets, 8.75- 4.11 suregrip. Still working the bugs out but lotsa fun.

Thanks Again. I sold the R/T about five years ago to a guy in Ft. Wayne who had one years ago. I haven't heard from him since then. I don't know what happened to it.

Here is mine when I first picked it up in Jan 2010. In the midst of fixing rust issues so no new pics. Slow progress on her.

Before I got her she was last driven in 89 and stored in a dirt floor garage with only 36,000 miles. Interior is great. Still typical rust in quarters and front fenders, but floors and frame are solid except for small hole in driver floor. Would have been worse but being in the garage for over 20 years helped, leak is from corner of cowl where there is a penetration.
She is driveable, though the front suspension needs to be done. I towed it home and soon after getting her home I started her up. She ran crappy as the gas was stale. but after a few gallons of clean gas, rebuild of the carb and all engine fluids, belts and hoses were changed she runs fine. I need to flush the tranny, but the fluid looks real clean.

Lost of work to do to get it back in shape.
