How interchangeable are the 76-79 front end and trunk lid from the 1980 style? There is more fiberglass for the earlier models. Are the tail lights different?

to swap, you would need fenders, hood, grille, at least, I think that the mount locations for the grille would be the same,

others have swapped the 80 model front clip for older models before

I wonder how far this could go- 89 dipplomat with a 76 aspen front clip???

oh yeah, the bumpers are about the same-at one point i thought differently, but they are basically the same minus the black bumper guard and the two bumperette 5mph guards (remove them-they look bad)
