FIfth Ave Sunroof

Thinking of adding a factory sunroof to my fifth ave, Can anyone tell me if the body was reinforced for this or can I just find one in a junkyard and cut and paste so to speak, any info will be helpfull.Thanks..

I had an '87 Diplomat with a factory sunroof, at one point it leaked and I had to tear the headliner down, so the inside of the roof now showed, from what I remember there wasn't any extra reinforcements of any kind, but this was like 14 years ago so I could be mistaken

I went looking through old dippy.org posts to see if I took any pictures of mine, I didn't but someone else did, my '87's was set up differently, for one thing the motor was on the back of the roof not the front

iM GOING TO HOLD OFF ON THE PROJECT FOR NOW, IM ALREADY 4000.00 OVER BUDGET. NOW i NEED A DRIVERS SIDE POWER SEAT MOTOR/BRACKET/SWITCH.iT JUST STOPPED WORKING ,MY TECH SAYS THAT IT HAS POWER BUT NOTHING WORKS.
