No recovering for those early F's. Those cars had a headliner that was made out of some type of fiber board. It was all one molded unit.

Darth, So could you replace it with something that you could recover? I'm already running into problems with an 80s car, I have no idea how you find good parts like that for a 70s car.

Craig - can you give us a picture of what is currently your headliner?

Shipping a headliner is a b. The only way I will ship one is still attched to the roof, in a crate. That can get pretty expensive.
Best bet is to find one you can pick-up. I believe there are a couple F hoarders within resonable driving distance to you.

The headliner in my F’s are non-covered and uses a molded perforated material (looks like pegboard), which is different than the covered headliner (that was) in my M-body.

The headliner in the ’80 Aspen station wagon I found here is torn in rear section, but I was going to try to rob it anyway to see if I can make it fit my 5th Ave.

no offense but it kinda looks like the pasture before the crops have come up. Not that I spend much time contemplating headliners...

He he, well, that might be in Texas.
In central Oklahoma we have red dirt, not that tan stuff.

PS: why can’t dirt just be dark brown/black ???
