headliner insulation

Removed my headliner in my f body and it had three separate pads. Two were falling apart the other was fiberglass which is still ok. Do you make new pads or leave them out?

I made new pads and glued them to the roof using high heat upholstery cement. I used the stuff in the link from Speedway Motors and faced the a foil upwards. It'll deaden sound and lessen the suns effect on radiant heat getting in the car.
Went original one better and covered as much area as possible with the insulation, instead of just 3 pads.
