Hello Mopar people

[AMC Diplomat]

I bought an 87 Diplomat a few months ago. The car spent most of it's life in Arizona and anything that's not steel is basically cooked. I've been working on it here and there and lurking on this forum for tips and information.

This is my first older mopar car. I was a big Lincoln Town Car fan for a long time but I finally got disgusted chasing electrical issues in every Ford I've ever owned.

I also came across this YouTube video of M bodies being assembled at the AMC plant in Kenosha Wisconsin. Kinda neat: Kenosha Diplomat

This morning my husband watching tv and some stock broker lady who was on there talking about how she wasn't going gray, she was becoming a silver fox.
He said 'you should do what she's doing'
Say what????
I just started laughing ... she was talking about stock investing so I'm pretty sure he was referring to the investment advice and not the hair color remark -- right??

Yeah I vote that yours just went gray first. Mine only started to turn. Which is one of the reasons I'm going green. To make it look younger. Isn't that what "cool" people do these days? Dye their hair funny colors like green and blue?

I chased a green 1977 chrysler cordoba for several years.... makes a pretty car.

Nice! My third M was a triple red '87 SE with a factory sunroof...the seats live on in my Gran Fury, they sure are comfortable!
