First of all, I have several old mopars that include a '69 Dodge Super Bee, an '85 Dodge Ramcharger, a '76 Dodge Coronet Sedan, and finally, 2 M bodies, an '87 Chrysler Fifth Avenue, and an '87 Dodge Diplomat. I have posted a thread in the M body forum concerning the Fifth Ave. and Diplomat, in regard to the exhaust system of both. Anyone with any info about getting rid of the pre-cats or resonators on these cars, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and looking forward to conversing whenever I can squeeze it in!

Only advice I can give is one of 3 options:
1) source a Canadian spec Y pipe (no cats)...but I haven't seen "new" replacements available for some time.
2) find an old Y pipe from a pre cat era F or M body from a wrecker;
3) make your own- pull your Y pipe and weld in pipe to replace the cats.
