Well, a bit more:

Owning a couple Mopars already (69 Charger, 69 A100, 79 MB400 Camper) with a M-Body as latest addition. A real great condition 1979 LeBaron Medallion Coupe. Further, there's an accidental Ford... a 88 LTD Crown Vic... That's another story...

The LeBaron is an original Euro-Export with Cat-Delete Option :)

It has 72.500 km (yes, not miles; thats approx. 45.000 miles) on it, and considering its condition I'll buy that.

Thx for the warm welcome, guys.

I had a short road trip with approx 140 mls yesterday. It ran smooth like silk. Although it is and feels different, I like the lockup converter. And the LeBaron is respected on the road, not much aggression compared to driving a blob-like modern car....:D:cool:

Some things are to be done. I'll have all the hollow areas/cavities professionally protected. Same goes for the whole undercarriage.
We looked inside the frames and all - no major rust, mostly clean sheet metal. :)

Oil+filter change, heater cabling, some bulbs, LED for coolant temp, contacts of alternator wiring, remote passenger mirror, power doors and some other smallish issues.
