I just bought another 81 Mirada for a parts car and came across its two sided build sheet that might help some members decode their J Body....the black tape you will see on each side of the build sheet is factory too. Its about 6 font, so saving the photos and then enlarging them may be the best method to view. I posted the front, back, and then 1/2 of the back twice to accommodate everyone's browser viewing...I can also text them to you if you PM me...hope this helps.

Where did you find your sheet at? Ive checked my seats front and rear and even the gas tank area no luck on my 81 Mirada

Build sheets I usually found in Miradas were between the floorboard and the left rear the padded insulation under the carpet , hopefully it isn't soaked.

I found them underneath the jute taped to the rear of the back seat foot well on the drivers side, as though someone reached in the driver door area as it was moving down the line and taped it to the foot well....same place on three Mirada's for me. I haven't heard that this is THE place to find them, but I suspect they could be under the carpet/jute anywhere under the driver's seat all the way to the rear seat area. I bought a new Mirada in 1983 and I expected to find the build sheet under the rear seat like most GMs and accidently found them under my carpet as described above. If yours still has the original carpet, there's a good chance they are under it somewhere.

I just found mine under the passenger's side front carpet, fortunately in great shape. '83 Mirada. Unfortunately, the only part of the back on mine that I can't read is the same part that is covered by tape on yours. The instrument panel and stripe areas.
