Hello,
I'm looking at a 78 aspen rt but the k member is rusted out,how hard or easy is it to remove the k member,(easier without the engine i asume?)where would you get one

Four Big Bolts

And the bolts on the upper control arm tower to allow enough room to swing 'em out of the way so it's a straight drop down.

As Shorty pointed out unhook your column, pull the calipers off the anchors, make sure there are no brake lines in the way and you're done. Of course, this is assuming there's no engine in place at the time. If there is it's no big deal to rig something between the inner aprons to hold the engine up in place for you.
