I am building a back half street strip 76 Aspen, I welded in new frame rails from the transmission crossmember to the back bumper and a roll cage. After the new frame was in I cut out the factory frame rails but I forgot to measure the center to center distance from the front leaf spring bolt hole to the rear frame rail shackle bracket bolt hole! Didn't realize this until I was ready to weld in the relocated shackle bracket. I was wondering if anyone would able to take this measurement from their car and post it? Also the distance from the trunk floor pan to the center of the frame shackle bracket bolt hole. Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

The first part of your question is from what would of been the flat where the front spring mount bolts on (a oem std, duty one) to the furthest back bolt hole center (on the outermost side) of the hanger bracket is 63.5 and the spring mount to front center spring eye bolt is 3.0 so 60.5 inches. This was both sides.

On this second question.... on the rear shackle mount from the rearmost outer bolt hole center to center is 47 3/4 from side to side. And if you look below at the chart at that 58 3/8 from front center eye to rear shackle looks like a good measurement. Do read what the chat below says about the rear top shackle pin. D on the chart below.

I will admit im much better out doing the work vs trying to explain it so if you need something more or if I misunderstood just tell me and I will try to measure it. Im measuring from an actual 76 F thats in a good spot to get some accurate measurements.

Im sure you know to tack things up and test fit all before drilling/welding is the best way to go. But I would ask why your not putting sliders on the rear vs oem parts or unless its more of a street deal and you dont like the clanking and banging of hard parts on hard parts.

Dude, I did not expect this much information! I don't know how to thank you. So I didn't cut out the factory front leaf spring bracket frame mounts just in case I lost my way with my measurements. My new front spring mount is in the stock location but mounted nine inches inboard. The car will be about 70 percent street and I don't want to hear all that noise from the sliders. I was hoping to be able to adjust the ride height with some shackles that I made and not have to resort to lowering blocks or anything like that, unless you have a better idea. Also do you think I could install the shackles to the frame with just the bolt through a metal sleeve without the upper bushing? Again, thanks for all the info, your car looks great too.
