Need help with lower control
Arm bushings embossed washers
I can get the big one to seat but the little one won’t seat it will just push the bushing out till it’s flush with the shell of the bushing it’s like the bushing itself is too long or the sleeve is alitlle too short anyone experienced this do I need a longer sleeve? Or do I cut the bushing with a blade a bit to shorten the bushing or can I just leave the washer in there sitting and just install the the lower control arm

Bushings are from firm feel and stock lower control arm and stock control arm bushing shell

Once the arm is installed and the bolt torqued, the bushings should compress, and the sleeve will be tight to each side of the k-frame pocket.

I may not be seeing something in the photos though.

Where in Ontario r u?

If around Windsor you're more than wlecome to bring this over and I'll put my pres to work on it.

Guys are right, looks like that isn't pulling through all the way, I'm thinking it could be just because the poly material is a lot less compressible than the factory rubber stuff.

Best outcome is what Aspen500 suggests: once you install these and torque them up they may pull together...still, I would be a little worried about that, although if they do not pull through you will immediately know b/c the LCA will be hard to turn/move (up/down).

If you want/can, you could pull it all apart, measure the sleeve itself and compare to the length in the LCA.

Thanks for the help guys I was away in vacation but I needed up ordering a new bushing set for energy suspension and noticed that it doesn’t have this issue it’s the metal sleeve I got with the original bushing set from firmfeel was to short I did have the bushing all the way seated but every time tried to seat the washers it pressed the bushing itself out
