I picked up the Miller tool to do the upper control arm bushings and I got the ball joint press and part of the caster/camber tool. I also got the ball joint seal installer cup

Does anyone know what size cups I need for the ball joint press? I know I can just use a regular ball joint press, but I'm being a bit of a tool nerd.

Are you shure the upper ball joint is pressed in?
Did the front end on my Aspen a few years ago, and it did have threaded style upper ball joint:

I ordered the right socket for it, and with a long breaker bar and me ending nose down on the garage floor they eventually cracked loose.
I don't remember the size of it, but i got this from Summit:

The lowers are press in. I could see how my post could read the wrong way

I'll be doing both upper and lower ball joints at some point

I see, of course I did manage to read it the wrong way. :D

I can't help you with the cup size (!) for the lower joint, but I don't remember having any promblems pressing them out.

What I do remember is the upper joints.
-Soak the threads on the ball joints several days before you attempt to loosen them. I used a breaker bar with a 3 ft pipe on it. With the torque applied I was sure either the threads was going south or I was going to round the square on the ball joint.
-Loosen the ball joint with the UCA still in the car.

Good luck!
