Great day with my oldest son and oldest brother up at new england dragway in epping n.h. we got to see some of the big boys and girls run some fast times and yes a j body the Studebaker had an 81/4 with 355s with 500 hp he said he baby's it

I believe that Mirada used to belong to the Leopold family out of Pa. Father and son team.

Troy I only saw it that one time and didn't get a chance to hunt them down for an up close look .

Wes Leopold, I believe the car had 'Daddys Toy' written on it. That Mirada was a preproduction, hand built at Chrysler. It has Cordoba fenders too.

It's funny these cars stay racing for so long in different areas and no one forgets the lineage
