Thanks JW,
The Volare now has a 408 stroker on methanol, will be making break-in runs and racing it this weekend at Julesburg Dragway.
The Aspen wagon will get a 318 4V for NHRA stock eliminator class racing. Hope before September.
Your 61 Tempest, does it have the overhead cam inline six? just curious, always thought that was a cool engine, ahead of it's time for a US auto maker.

We raced the Volare at Julesberg Dragway over the weekend. After some break-in runs on the new 408 stroker we turned it loose for a few mid 11.50 runs at 112 mph into a head wind.
Has some tire spin at the launch, will work with tire pressures and shock settings to improve that.
Thanks for reading

Trophy 4
Just found a guy with a replacement 'rope drive' and driveline tube, so later this summer there should be progress.
