Oshkosh 2025 - Airshow

Yes, I'm a bit early...

But, thinking about it now, making plans and bookings up to Q4 this year seems reasonable, as we (good friend and myself) are coming from Germany... This idea is still in very early stage, but putting together some cool plans helps in making a positive decision on the whole thing.

Anyway. Oshkosh 2025 is going to happen July 21-27. As this is quite up north, any ideas for whatever usually happens around that area Mopar-wise? Or other car events? Might even be some driving, we're quite road-happy.
A cheapo but reasonable dependable car (insurance might be problematic?) for that time would be great; we're both reasonably mopar tech savvy, but no need to work on a car is always better

Glad to hear any thoughts / ideas. Would also be glad to maybe meet some of you guys for a beer

I haven't been there for 28 years, but it was always a heck of a thing. Oshkosh is like 100 miles SE of where I live.

Can't say off hand on things like car shows, car rentals and such. What I can say is good luck on getting a hotel room anywhere close to Oshkosh for the air show. I've heard that even up here in the Wausau metro area, rooms fill up with show attendees.

As for weather, you never know. Could be 60's and rainy, could be 100 and sunny, or anywhere in between that week. Heck, might be 62 one day, 96 the next..........

Edit: Not paying attention. Just realized you said 2025, not this year. At any rate, book a hotel and rental car as soon as possible.
