I bought the energy suspension poly bushing kit. It says in its installation instructions that the outer sleeve needs to be reused from the old rubber bushings. My question is how best to do this?

I keep thinking about it and burning the rubber out seems like the only way. unless anyone else has any other ideas? Has anyone else used the energy suspension control arm bushings?
