Hello. I have an 89 5th avenue and would like to remove the power steering set up in favor of the manual. I prefer the feel of manual steering and would like to know how to go about switching it over. If anyone has a manual set up the would be willing to sell or what parts would work with said vehicle. Thank all of you in advance

Usable 24:1 manual boxes can be had pretty cheap. I think you can get new ones for like 200-300 bucks. You'll need the box, the adapter coupler, and the manual pitman arm from an Aspen/Volare.

Having actually done this, I'll say that above 5mph a 24:1 box makes the car super fun to drive. It is ten times better than a worn out power box. BUT under 5mph it sucks pretty bad for parallel parking. It is doable, not impossible.

Sourcing the intermediate arm and the coupler to do it the way I did is a pain in the butt. So you can do it that way, but just beware you're in for a trip if you want to do it cheaply. I had to hunt and make offers to pay low prices.
