An older gentleman that I worked retired and gave me a stack of Scale Auto Enthusiast magazines. In the Feb 93 issue I found this.

I see Volare promo cars all the time but never Aspen. I assume they never made them??

Correct, the Aspen model was never made.

There used to be "resin conversion" for Aspens. Grille/bumper, lights

I'm sure they didn't want the additional tool and die expenses for what was basically an identical car. I'm sure Dodge would have welcomed it, but you know how things change when it comes time to write that check. Interestingly though, Johan did both a Maverick AND Comet though so I wonder who paid for the additional tooling.

I am able to modify the Plymouth grille into a Dodge one.
