WANTED Rear tail lights wire harness

I am working on a ‘89 Fifth Avenue which is having lightning issues related to some severely corroded tail light sockets. The new replacement sockets are very poor quality, so ideally what I want to do is swap out the whole rear harness which includes all 8 sockets for the rear tail lights. There’s a connector in the driver’s side corner of the trunk which makes isolating that section of the harness easy.

I am imagining that the harness for a Diplomat is a match, and I believe ‘83-‘89 should all be interchangeable? I could be wrong on that. Anyhow, please reach out if you have an interchangeable harness with sockets that are not corroded. Thanks!

Diplomat is different because of the placement of the license plate light but can be made to work pretty easily.

Thank you for the tip. Definitely easier than rewiring all 8 sockets haha

I used a K car harness on mine. I had to add a ground and splice in the license plate light.

You rock! I contacted them for close ups of the sockets and they look really clean. I had already surfed eBay but didn’t find that listing somehow. Thanks a bunch!
