Getting ready to install my new carpet anybody know where I can find a assortment pack of different sized floor panel plugs? I am looking for rubber ones not plastic ones. Can I just use seam sealer to fell the holes in the floor board? Thank You.

There's different sizes on here
Are these what you mean?

I will refer to that site for stuff I may need. Thanks for re posting the link I could not remember it for the life of me. Thank You.

Ebay ,or firm feel prod

be careful with eBay, and don't make my mistake on the cheapest-the plugs were made of plastic and the seller told me to pack sand when I told them the plugs were useless when I received plastic body plugs.

ASK THE RETAILER IF THE PLUGS ARE RUBBER. YOU WANT RUBBER.

Yes I want only rubber ones. In the past I have used just seam sealer I know seam sealer to pug holes in a floor board right. Just for the record it did work and did not look all that bad Lol.

I know this is an old one, but I just ripped the carpet out and am handling some surface rust. I got impatient and tore up half of my grommet plugs. Did you(or anyone else for that matter) find rubber ones?

You may have to find a kit for an older car to find what you need. The picture below is for a ’71 B-body I found in eBay, for $70 (US). Red arrows are Rubber and blue is Plastic.

If you look the rubber is much bigger (thicker) when placed side by side – but I would still ask for specifics before purchasing.

Rubber ones are out there – and might be cheaper to get a kit that doesn’t fit an FMJ body directly.

Don’t forget to get numbers (quantities) of each size – as well.
Most of Chrysler vehicles use a lot of the same plugs – but not all the same quantities or sizes.

I ended up going with the ones from Justmopar.com and they work fine. The only problem is that I need some 2-1/4" ones (2 in the trunk & 2 in the rear seat footwell) and everybody has either 2" or 2-1/2". I just cleaned up the old ones and used them.
