OK it has been a while, but I always remember slant6 engines with the coil mounted right next to the distributor. Of course I 've moved them for various reasons.
The 81 Lebaron Woody Wagon has the coil mounted near the wiper wash bottle right by our Airconditioning expansion block (the one with the funky allen heads)
It looks like it was put there by Ma mopar?
Did mopar put them there?
Cut to the chase, I fund my no spark issue with the woody. The best part I have a recently pulled blaster coil from the Volare'
It is starting to look like the woody is going to get a better tune up then it came to me with. Where I can, any slant 6 go fast goodies are probably getting put on.
My Dad had a list of spark plugs for slants. I cannot find it. What made this list important, it had the heat range needed for the the plugs that ran lean- like No5.
Off the top of my head, No 5 was a cooler range and No 1 was the hottest. 2, 3, 4, & 6 were cooler than 1 but hotter then 5.
Anyone else have a preference for heat range for slants?
