cI have got the correct color for the old Girl from a local supplier. The names have changed from the original 1978 code to the new code on the attached photo. Anyone of you who may give me a hint of the stripes on the car? I am not sure this is original; it looks like, but from the spares manual I cannot find anyone like this. All help most welcome

They look original. You will most likely need to use pinstripe tape or have a pinstriper paint them on. Far as I'm aware, they aren't reproduced.
Don't know if it will help but, photos from a parts catalog. Didn't get one of the deck lid stripe.

Thanks for your help and I am overwhelmed having got such help from you all. A million thanks to you too. My Dodge has been "Upgraded" to a Le Baron due to the fact that the Diplomat name was taken in Norway late 1960's. Opel from Germany had a model called Diplomat with a 6 cylinder engine if I recall correct. My car was imported probably late 1982 as it was registered early 1983. I know from the book written by Lee Iaccoca that Chrysler had a large sales bank late 1970's that they finally cleared after a couple of years.

I am most grateful for that wonderful photo
Fantastic! Just bang on. Thanks for your help and I am overwhelmed having got such help from you all. A million thanks to you too. Opel from Germany had a model called Diplomat with a 6 cylinder engine if I recall correct. Shows me the stripes are from 1979 and all other parts seem to be the same as mine save the rear lights. The Le Baron insigna on mine was glued on by me having bought it from a Chrysler dealer in USA. That company is not in business any more but the name slipped my mind. I seem to recall the owner died in 2006. Coller Dodge (????) or something like that. They were marvellous and very very helpful! RIP

Here is the company I mentioned and they are greatly missed:

By the way: My rear bumper is slowly getting rotten on the left side. You will no doubt see that from the picture. If anyone of you know of a good one please drop me a line. I tried months ago to contact a company in USA that had a good one, but so far no reply.
