I bought new tires with the first stimulus check and they beat the wheel covers on with a hammer so now they won't stay on no matter what I do...anyways my friend got a hold of some nice silver paint...it started to rain so only one side got done, other side will be done tomorrow.

Things got even better today, the '80 Diplomat's door were too rusty to bother with, but it had a good red headliner, its been ten years and I've never had a headliner until now! :) also was able to replace the badly worn A-pillars also :) a good day!

I've had a couple cars with no headliner, or had only the remnants of a headliner, and when I put a good one in, it made all the difference in the world.

When first got her ten years ago, the headliner was sagging so badly I had to tear it off and could never afford to have it redone, they (the junkyard) only charged me $20. for it! :) I'm really loving it

How many of us had a headliner riddled with Thumb Tacks to keep from rubbing whats left of our hair?

Both are a really good find! Congrats! I was thrilled to get really good A pillar covers off the black parts wagon a few years back. The original ones in OY were cracked and fried from the desert sun in southern Colorado.

Don't even ask me what I did to the new to me wheel cover held on by three of the lugnuts. At least I stopped after the first one. I also replaced it. Said I was sorry. Bowed my head in shame. We learn every day don't we?
