Last fall the shop that I had hired let me down on the floor pan change and frame supports. We took on the job my 11 year old son my daughter and her fiance helped a lot out with the interior and the floor welded in the newframe connectors and floors and swapped in a used 8 3/4 sure grip rear end as well as firm feel springs. At this point my other 440 was at the machine shop waiting for parts. Spring came time to get some k'son it .

Visited the dragstrip however burnt out a plug wire on the way there dog gone it .

Put the 200 kph speedometer in it after about 5000 k the trans gave up. I already had a full manual shift body 2800 rpm stall set up to go in so I put that in and relocated the battery to the trunk now the oil filter is a breeze to get to. Diff lock wasslipping so I swapped in a rebuilt pod still 3:91 ratio . Much better launched so hard that the springs started sagging had to put the factory ones back in I am still waiting for the replacements from firm feel but the factory ones are holding up pretty good.

Now the 505 stroker is here and what a monster it is to get the 440 out of this car ! . It is out now we have changed the k member bolts for poly ones ( that task is brutal ) theengine is dressed and should be in place by the weekend I hope to be on the road next week and putting some kms on this car has been so much fun !

Next paint and some tuning and it will be substantially complete. Of course it will always be a work in progress.

Parry Sound...man, I love it up there...we mostly do canoeing trips around the various Provincial parks!

Anyways, nice ride...looks like some more pretty impressive 'power motivation' is making it's way to that engine bay, that'll be a blast!
