I had to replace the front passenger side turn signal bulb socket with an '80s Ram, clearly I did something wrong because it will blink like it's supposed to with the headlights off, but with them on it won't flash and the turn signal indicator on the fender lights up, the hazard lights will work but don't flash simultaneously, instead they flash back and forth like a police car would I'm guessing i mixed up a wire? The wire colors were different so I did the logical thing: stripe wire to stripe wire, light solid wire to light solid wire and dark solid wire to dark solid-see picture IMG_20241003_185007256.jpg

Flip the wires around until you come up with a combination that works. Sounds like you're just one wire off

That's pretty much what I was thinking, the sun was going down just as I finished, so I have to wait until tomorrow...at first i thought it was right-until I tried it with the headlights on, ironically that picture was supposed to be a victory shot

cut the old one open and see where the wires are supposed to go if the colors are not the same.

I rather like the idea of the alternating hazard lights, lol. Try swapping the light and dark wires.

Went through it wire by wire, until I found a combo that works: yellow wire to tan wire, brown wire to black and yellow wire, and black and white wire to black wire. One problem solvedIMG_20241005_133006537.jpg
