At my town's ceremony today. My neighbor Mike built this. He is a Vietnam Vet USMC. It has signatures of Vietnam Vets all over it

It a day off for Remembrance Day in Alberta. I was at the ceremonies at the Museum of the Regiments, nice ceremony.

History Television is playing a lot of shows regarding Canadians in combat. While I have nothing but the highest regard for the WW I and WW II veterans, it is nice to see the soldiers that were in Korea and Afghanistan also get some recognition.

I had my basic training a Fort Knox Kentucky. I spent three months there running up and down three hills call agony, heartburn and tank killer. Then I went to AIT at Redstone Arsenal Alabama. 13 months of missile system training and repairing. I then spent the rest of my tour at Fort Hood in the 1st Cavalry Division 27th Maintenance Battalion. Here is the missile system I worked on.
