I think we have reached the point where the regulations are so tight that they cannot be met if a car is to be usable. Pull up a chair, your favourite beverage and snack, and the let the show begin. I really want to see how this plays out in Europe. EU regulators are not known for being very forgivin (just ask Microsoft), yet they face the prospect of really damaging both VW and Mercedes-Benz economically, and they are two very, very big employers in the EU.
