The AHB rear ends are getting harder to come by, easier to find a whole AHB car. There’s a few years of B-body rear ends that can swap in easily enough without any cutting. Like ‘67-‘70 or so.
Jeep 8.25 can be made to work, can make a Ford 8.8 work with a little cutting and welding, then you get cheaper/more part availability, posi rear and disk brakes. If you have a driveline shop around you, you’ll be able to reuse your drive shaft, will just have to have it cut down a little bit.
Definitely try to get the 125mph speedo; it’s worth 100 cool points and makes excessive speeds possible

Thank you very much for the information. That gives me some more options to consider. Glad to be here! Looks like a good place to find some information on my new project
