Anyone up for exchanging a gift this year?
An extra part on your shelf, re-gift something you got last year, or give a new item to help Santa brighten a member's day.

Since you're in the Holiday spirit, I can send you a few grandchildren. No instruction manual though. You can strangle them, send them to the moon, whatever works for you. The novelty has worn off a while ago

    rotflmao .... too funny...
I'll just stick them in the mail with return postage, they will wind up being 'misplaced' with the ballots that have gone missing.
You'll get them back in 4 years once the basement bunny runs again.

    lol

I thought he would like having the grandchildren rub his hairy legs, lol! Nope, nothing creepy about that at all................Don't let me get started!

OK, I'll send you a card, once I locate a good one. Check your PM for address exchange.

Maybe not, it says "ERROR" and that your inbox is full JW, so no PM right now.

I never liked the idea of gift exchanges. Probably has something to do with my general bah humbug attitude during work festivities. Card exchange sounds fun though. Maybe we should move this into PM and swap addresses?

    Works for me .....
If you want to exchange cards, PM me your address and i'll get a master list together.
Then its your choice of holiday you want to send it for...
Christmas, New Years, or just a general - hope you are doing well.

I was over on dippy.org a couple of days ago and pinged Captain Caravelle to see if he was up for some contact. If he sends me his address I'll see if he wants to share and get some cards.

I know where your heart is. All people have their own strides. You're a good person. Thanks for pushing forward and being outgoing. This is not always a warm and fuzzy world. Good people exist in significant numbers on here. Blessed are you and those that cross your mind

    Alrighty --
I made an executive decision on behalf of all of the members and gave a Christmas gift to the 90 year old man across the road from us.

His wife died in November and he's just at a loss every day.

So I managed to get the trailer down to the estate and get his Christmas Gift loaded.
What a bear by yourself (thankfully my younger brother showed up at the critical moment to turn the steering wheel as needed).

Strapped and loaded and delivered at the end of a really nice warm day.

    FF9A752F-2DBC-46F1-AE44-D3188B21E848.jpeg

I gave him the non-running 841 Ford Tractor I'd been bringing back to life.
New tires, oil changed, oil bath breather cleaned and touched up, rebuilt the carb, gas tank cleaned...

He needs to add a sediment bowl and probably clean the carb again, put a battery on it, and have somebody put the tube I bought in the front right tire.

He kept asking me the price and I told him the folks at the forum were hoping he had a good Christmas this year.

    Woohoo!

now -- all of you go out and feel good, enjoy your Christmas, and know there is a 90 year old man in north texas that is thoroughly confused, but happy.
    and
I have one less project in my list of things to do!

    winner winner chicken dinner!

Looks like I missed the boat - but I also didn't have internet during most of this dialog.

    A nice gift, JW!

    so you noticed that yourself.
All of the interviews he gave was from his basement. When he did go out to campaign, hardly anyone was at his events.
Now the basement he will reside in - has all of the missile buttons in it (...I suspect).
