Alrighty --
I made an executive decision on behalf of all of the members and gave a Christmas gift to the 90 year old man across the road from us.
His wife died in November and he's just at a loss every day.
So I managed to get the trailer down to the estate and get his Christmas Gift loaded.
What a bear by yourself (thankfully my younger brother showed up at the critical moment to turn the steering wheel as needed).
Strapped and loaded and delivered at the end of a really nice warm day.
I gave him the non-running 841 Ford Tractor I'd been bringing back to life.
New tires, oil changed, oil bath breather cleaned and touched up, rebuilt the carb, gas tank cleaned...
He needs to add a sediment bowl and probably clean the carb again, put a battery on it, and have somebody put the tube I bought in the front right tire.
He kept asking me the price and I told him the folks at the forum were hoping he had a good Christmas this year.
Woohoo!
now -- all of you go out and feel good, enjoy your Christmas, and know there is a 90 year old man in north texas that is thoroughly confused, but happy.
and
I have one less project in my list of things to do!
winner winner chicken dinner!
