I've used both of these:
1) 78050 HEADERS, Headman Headers
2) 5901 HEADERS, Hooker Competition headers

I like the Hooker brand better...just have a beefier feel to them, maybe even thicker tube wall?

In 2000 I bought a set of Hookers for my Ford, at the time they were the only full length header available, $280 now the Same header is $600, no new brains involved.

As nice and beneficial as those coated polished headers are, $800-$900 is out of my reach. I had my eyes on the plain jane $500 tri-y's now that Ive finally decided to go small block. But with the good reviews on the hookers fitment I'd consider them.

What are RT stock headers? Ive never seen factory headers since '70-'71 on the factory race built, heater delete, not intended for street, no warranty cars. You know, With the aluminum front ends, glass bumpers, no window crank, just a belt to raise lower the thin glass windows, acid dipped bodies. I was 4 in '69 and with my dad as his vitamin C 340 4 speed Duster came off the truck and went right on the lift. I was with it every weekend after that any time they worked on or raced it till '77 when he sold it. So what are those RT headers?

Oooh Right!! Wow am I slippin'!! The RT ex. mani's must have there own part #s then if theyre different. FWIW don't you want Grand Cherokee mani's for the turn out/down? Truck mani's dump straight down and can interfere with mounts and k frame,. Aren't the Dak mani's the same-ish?
