Well, I'll probably have a fairly-healthy, just-freshened 360 for sale later this year along with the B&M balanced flexplate needed to bolt it up to your original converter. I just got that flexplate, but it's only going to be in the car for the time it takes to break in the motor and dial in the EFI. Then I start the four-speed swap... *rubs hands together evilly*

lol I just liked the name, I'm in West MI as it happens

That's good....NoCar may actually have a good enough catapult for that.

It's up to you ultimately but you might want to list your actual local
It's just easier if you're looking for parts if people know where you are.
Again....it's up to you.
Just a suggestion.

Put my ex-wife and I in a room together. There'd be enough tension to fling it across the Milky Way.

Houston we have a visual of a UFO,
Wait what? Knoooow its, Nah cant be.
Houston we have a visual of what appears to be a Mopar 360 engine.

Okay....this is my final hijack of this thread but you just gave me an idea.
I'd never do this to a Mopar but.....
Catapulting say.....hyundayota four bangers.....
That would be the ultimate fun afternoon.

Or, you know, if you've got some light arms lying around, trap shooting is always fun...

Ditch the Lean Burn setup. The quickest & easiest way is to get any vacuum-advance distributor (points or electronic) and order up a Pertronix Ignitor I. It's so easy you won't believe it. However, if you want to do the Mopar-style electronic ignition used from '71-'81, I have an article somewhere that covers that swap including making sure everything's wired correctly as well as installing a four-barrel and intake. I'll have to dig a little for it, but it's in the pile somewhere.

I've done some research on it, doesn't look too bad. The big stuff looks easy enough, it's the devil in the details parts I'm worried about getting hung up on. Things like the fuel fittings, factory cruise and kickdown bracket. what vacuum lines to leave, etc... wiring, I'm between "it'll do" and ""brilliant!" depending on how distracted I am.

the other big thing besides which electronic ignition system to use is, setting up a thermoquad, or quadrajet. which one i easier, which one is better?
