Changing out the front shocks today for new sachs. Discovered the old right front shock was upside down. Left is on correct. :eusa_eh:

The sachs are a lot better than those POS road ryder shocks. The boatiness is gone. They'll work until the front gets redone.

Driver's side. That's a nice picture of the bracket.

I never knew how they were mounted.

I can tell you that the Torquer II will fit under the hood no problem but I'm not sure it's a good choice. I was thinking that it might work to cut the front off the Torquer II and weld it back onto the front of a Performer RPM.

I have a stock performer on the Mirada right now. The engine is near stock at the moment. The Edelbrock street efi gets here in a couple days. New tank an d sending unit, I already have. The opened up performer I have, will go on the 318/390 Magnum when I start on it. The hughes heads will be redrilled by Hughes for the LA intake. The torker II will not be a very good match for the usage or gearing of the car(2.94). It does however allow a third option for folks still running a/c.

O2 bung gets welded in Sat. On an initial mock-up I have to move the ecu box on the passenger fender well over 5-6" to have room to mount the EFI ECU. New tank will be prepped this weekend also sans drilling the sending unit.

Rainy drive to the exhaust shop. Trip was longer than the time it took to weld the bung in. Now I shall bore you with reference undercarriage pics when it was on the rack. I have driven it enough to like the Sachs shock I got from Rock Auto last year.

One 45 deg russell twist lock fitting just kicked my ass.

That is all

Mocking up the Bouchillion brackets on the throttle body and the extra performer.

Further mock-up for the E-Street Box. I moved and flipped the mopar ECU. The engine compartment is still busy. The regulator will go just behind the charcoal canister. When I'm ready for the 390 I may look at mounting the box inside, but for right now this is a fair weather car.

looking for a low profile air cleaner and ran across this. It takes two cone filters. I haven't decided whether it looks goofy or not yet. Thoughts?
