Manual brakes on J body

What is required to convert an 82 Cordoba to manual brakes? Will the F-body master cylinder firewall support work on the J-body? Thanks

On a 1980 Mirada it's a bolt on using f-body parts. On a 1981 and later the firewall needs to be modified slightly as you can see in the picture.

What's different on the 81- later firewalls? It looks like the center opening is larger. I was hoping I could just use one of these:

The top picture is a 1980. The bottom is a 1981. If you open up your 1982 firewall to look like the 1980 one then your stiffener plate will bolt right on. Bolt the stiffener plate onto the firewall and use a scriber to mark what needs to be done.
