Hello everyone,
I am a new member and while I'm from California, I'm a red blooded Mopar guy that loves these cars.
I've owned numerous Mopars over the years and am active on 4 other of Joey's sites under the same screen name. I joined here because While I've never owned an Aspen or Gran Fury, I do like their styling. The emission laws in this state make it impossible to build anything after 1976 model year with any real speed.
I am getting to the point where I'm starting to see that all Mopars don't have to be fast, some can still be great cars that drive nice and look beautiful while doing it.
Oddly, I've found myself looking at Diplomats, Gran Furys and Fifth Avenues with a different perspective than before. I have hot rods already but I don't have a car with comfort as a main factor. I've owned a few C bodies that were too far gone to save so they were parted out.
I've been toying with the idea of picking up a clean and original 4 door with the goal of having something that can be driven at 80 mph as comfortable as many new cars.
I'll check in every so often to see what is new, in the meantime...Cheers to all.
Greg
